Calendula Oil is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve skin inflammations and irritations and to aid in wound healing. Calendula is effective for skin conditions, speeding and enhancing the healing process and promoting tissue regeneration. Not surprisingly, studies have shown that this herb has antiviral, antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties.

Used topically to aid wound healing and for minor burns and abrasions, lacerations, swellings, contusions and muscle joint strains and sprains, our Calendula Oil is made from Certified Organically grown flowering tops of calendula infused in extra virgin olive oil. This product has a consistency that it gives it a different range of application options than Calendula Salve. Calendula Oil can be added to a bath, for example, or worked into the scalp or a bandage.

Contraindications:
Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae (daisy) family.
